Shred of Evidence

My sister’s a graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law, and her birthday is August 27—which just happens to fall on a Monday this year. So as a birthday present to her, I’m looking for stories that center around lawyers.

There is no restriction on length, but I would like to see previously unpublished stories only. Please include “Submission: Special” in the subject line when submitting these stories; otherwise follow the standard guidelines. I’ll buy any story I like (even if I end up running some time after August 27), so your chances of acceptance are the same as regular submissions. The pay rate is also the same.
